Truthfully, camping is a strategy for success in any FPS game. Maybe it is the most annoying one - but thats up for debate - its neccesary in any firefight to know when to advance/retreat and stay put. This coming from a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2006

same thing about hard scoping in real life. People say "trash hard scope this and that" and its like, you know in real life the marines or the army dont quickscope, they sit on their scope until they see the target and take it out.

I know qualified Army Snipers - who have told me, in order to pass sniper school ... u camp out for 3 days, your target can pass by your line of sight several times but if your orders are to take him out on that 3rd day at a specific time and you cant wait - you fail. He also told me, he had to piss and shit next to his own position because he could not give up his position.

Like in COD 4 with the sniper missions. It simulated 3 days.

All ghillied up was the shit.
