this is a stupid poll... Every sport has their own prestige award

Hockey - Stanley
Baseball - World Series
Football - Superbowl
Soccer - World Cup ( i think is more prestigious than Olympics)
Swimming, Track, ice skating, gymnastics, etc. - Olympics
Basketball - idgaf
Golf - Masters

So to vote on one being more prestigious is just dumb because everyone has a different ability/sport. They are all prestigious you dumb fuck.

I meant it like, what's more prestigious the Stanley Cup or Super Bowl. Think about comparing Apples to Oranges to Banannas to Blueberries, they are all four different things. But, which one is better(in your opinion)? Don't give me a "scientific explanation" to this comparison either, cause i have a feeling someone will be like "..but Banannas have potasium and oranges have vitamin whatever. Which is exactly the point of this, which one is better/harder to achieve in your opinion?

That's the best way to explain it imo.

And what i am saying is they are all prestigious. not one is more prestigious than the other. Now if you compared the stanley to the olympics then I would say Olympics because first you have to make the national team then actually win the olympics. same with other sports. typically Olympics is more prestigious for all sports. For Soccer, I still think the World Cup is most prestige because it seems to be much more popular.

Just think about it for a minute. For the next 4 years, you've earned your country the title of best in the world. When you also consider the tedious qualifying process to even get into the World Cup, there's not a lot of room for argument. Champions of the world. Enough said.

I would have to say an olympic medal would be the best I mean not all the sports take athletic ability but you're competing against the greatest in the world. Its like what the Pro Bowl use to be in football where the best play until their buttholes bleed now its "um i'm making 10mil a year n this game means nothing...i'll just fall over."
Why is soccer so popular? Watching some dude roll around on the ground like a baby because someone came close to him just takes away from it. also watching a game for hours just to have it end 0-0 not my idea of an entertaining afternoon.

2nd Australian rules football just because you have to be a freakin badass mofo to even step on the field. Has anyone else watched that? Its like they took deathrow inmates put them in uniforms n said fight for your freedom.
