Inactivity Debate
Since being inactive has come up as a recent debate, I would just like to throw my opinion out there. I have not been active for quite some time, but that is due to the fact that when I joined, this clan was about life first. And I'm sorry I'm unable to be more active, but I am currently taking 18 hours in college and working almost everyday. So if that is grounds for demotion or a kick, then go for it, this just isn't the most important thing in my life right now. Plus the fact that when I get on now, I'm playing my xbox and there is nobody here for that anyway. If someone is inactive, we should find out why before demotion and kicks from the clan. If I get penalized for doing something much more important than being active on this site, then I'm sorry but I'll leave and it won't be on good terms. I was very active when I first joined, but life gets in the way. I'm sorry life takes precedence, but that's the way it is.

Re: Inactivity Debate
No worries bro. A good amount of us are in school and/or are working as well. I know personally I'm in college too as an engineering major so I don't get much free time. I just try to get on when I can and squeeze in a little more gaming on my breaks from school and then in the summer as well. I can only assume activity is going to pick up from here on out till the new year with exams finishing up and people getting out of school for weeks at a time for the holidays. Plus people will have money for games and consoles and all that good stuff. I'm pretty sure you're straight though no one is kicking you out

Re: Inactivity Debate
It's just an idea. I don't have any say in stuff anyway. All I'm saying is that for one if someone is kicked or cut from the clan for inactivity they are always welcome back, and that it would be so the site would look cleaned up and when we get recruits they're not asking who all these members are that are never on. I get life comes first. Sports teams have to make cuts it's just part of the game, there's no hard feelings.
Also I was completely inactive on this site for atleast half a year. I wouldn't have had hard feelings if I had been cut or lost my rank. It would have been natural as I hadn't even been on. In my mind it's just what I see as cutting someone
And when I say inactive I mean like what I was. If you come on once a week or something then that's not deserving of any action against it.

I am just pointing out not even 1minute i know members on the game itself for hours on end whats one minute to make a post or comment just so everyone knows the person is still breathing thats all. i dont want people taking this the wrong way i was not talking about kicking people go to the thing i posted and you will see

Re: Inactivity Debate
Inactivity is a topic we have had varying policies on. At one point, I think 2 weeks was grounds for a demotion, but let's face it, that was never going to happen. In interim see have gone through and made cuts, however rare it was. In event of these cleanings, the leaders are asked who they think we should keep around and who we were gonna cut. The easy way to avoid even being considered for a demotion/cut is to make a post just telling us what's up. It takes like 2 minutes and then that way we all know what's going on. Probably gonna have to come up with a new policy for it soon.

Re: Inactivity Debate
I agree 100% that recruiting is our top priority. I just posted on the Ghosts clan forum, so hopefully that'll bring in some people. Gonna try and get some people to join when I play later
Re: Inactivity Debate

What ya mean?
Re: Inactivity Debate
TOP100CLANS.COM AND CENTRALOUTPOST.COM
CENTRAL OUT POST IS like the yellow pages for join clans and doing clan wars for challenges, top 100 clans is similar

Re: Inactivity Debate
When you guys come up with this new inactivity policy, take into consideration what type of clan you want iS to be.
Being slack about inactivity = A chill, laid back clan, not very serious at all. Probably won't get the best members (in terms of skill), because competition won't be a priority.
Being strict about inactivity = A 'legit', competitive clan, pretty serious and strives to compete against others. Less chill members, probably more kids, fast paced.

Re: Inactivity Debate
mainly what i was saying when i brought it up is, look at our member list in the header. We should clean that up. Some of the members there even in the division leaders haven't been heard from in forever (i haven't seen punk in a long time). Also our list of RIT is huge and not one of them are active on the site for a long time. In reality we have 0 RIT right now.
This is just to clean it up so when we do recruit more people we don't just have a huge list of members we want them to know and add on their consoles who aren't even active at all

Re: Inactivity Debate
I haven't really said much about this topic yet so I will share my two cents.
So what happens usually is that we leaders get together and go through a 'cleansing' type thing. We will find the members that stay or go. We de-rank the members that haven't been on in the last month or two (that hasn't told us they were busy, and we've had no communication with) are de-ranked. Now we haven't had a clean up since August so that's why there are so many RIT's labeled in the site. What i personally think should happen is this:
If someone does not contact us and tell us that they will not be able to get on for a certain period of time then we let them keep their ranking status, but if someone is unactive for a month with absolutely no communication, then they should be deranked. And if they come back they should have to try out again. Now to me I like both sides of the clan: the competitive side and also the chill side where you can just play with friends for fun. And I don't think there would really be any change in this if these rules were to apply. That's just my two cents on this topic though
